In a defensive struggle this weekend, the Broncos clinched a close win over the struggling New York Jets. Signal-caller Bo Nix connected on a first-quarter scoring strike and kicker Wil Lutz kicked the late decisive three-pointer to secure the hard-fought win.

Defensive Display Wins Contest

Even with recording nine sacks against Jets QB Justin Fields, the Broncos found themselves trailing 11-10 following giving up a safety in the third quarter. Interestingly, the Jets managed just 82 total net yards during the entire game.

The Denver quarterback, who went 19 of 30 passes for 174 yards, led a decisive 12-play, 65-yard possession that ended with Lutz's 27-yard kick with just over five minutes remaining.
